1-3 Ottobre: Festa Patronale a Villa Castelli – October 1-3: Patronal Festival in Villa Castelli

In questo articolo Italiahomestay vi presenta una tradizionale festa, da qualche giorno conclusa a Villa Castelli. Si tratta della Festa Patronale, che va dall’ 1 al 3 Ottobre, in onore dei Santi Patroni della città: la Madonna della Fontana e il Cuore di Gesù. I 3 giorni si articolano tra programmi religiosi e civili, così organizzati:

• 1 Ottobre: Fiera cittadina: tra le vie della città, subito dopo l’alba, ecco tanti capannoni e bancarelle, commercianti pronti a esporre le ultime novità nel campo dell’abbigliamento, della casa, del cibo e degli animali. Questo grande mercato dura fino a sera, quando la gente si dirige nella piazza dove si esibiranno i cantori folkloristici del paese.
• 2 Ottobre: Festa religiosa, nel pomeriggio tra le strade del paese c’è la Solenne Processione in onore dei Santi Patroni presieduta dal Vescovo della Diocesi e si celebra la Santa Messa. La sera, nella cassa armonica straordinariamente illuminata, si esibiscono varie Bande musicali con le varie composizioni di musica classica e dell’opera, per poi aspettare la mezzanotte e ammirare straordinari fuochi d’artificio.
• 3 Ottobre: ultimo grande evento serale. Tutta la gente non solo di Villa Castelli, ma anche dei paesi limitrofi, si raduna in piazza e nelle strade del corso per un grande concerto con artisti famosi.Generalmente, in questi giorni puoi respirare nell’aria qualcosa di speciale, è come se respirassi aria ” frizzante”, aria di attesa e di gioia. Tutto è magico grazie alle fantastiche luminarie che partono dalla Chiesa Madre fino in Piazza Municipio, dov’è montata la cassa armonica.Continuando il passeggio, si attraversa il ponte sotto il quale è possibile ammirare la bellissima Gravina con un frantoio ipogeo e si arriva al punto d’incontro giovanile: la Luna Park, Ruote panoramiche, macchine da scontro, case di specchi, bruchi e trenini…tutto il divertimento per grandi e piccini.
